1940 - 1945 Active service in Canadian Navy - Lieutenant Commander.
Earlier experience as an architectural assistant, Completed A.I.B.C. Intermediate
standard.
1948 - 1952 was senior engineer at Swan Rhodes Wooster Consulting Engineers.
Was a founding partner of Read, Jones, Christoffersen Ltd. in 1952. For 25
years as a senior partner and vice-president he was responsible for a wide range
of structural engineering projects.
Has 20 years public service as school trustee, alderman and from 1974 - 1978,
Mayor of West Vancouver.
In 1978 founded JONES KWONG KISHI.
